VI

It was amazing… The worst exam I’ve ever taken, those horrible 20 minutes standing before three teachers listening to what you have to present. I prayed. I started praying for this exam to pass a long time ago. I was afraid. I didn’t ask God to let me pass it. I just wanted Him to be with me then, to feel His hands over my head so that I can feel relaxed and calm. He’s so amazing. My results were much better than I expected. How not to believe in the strength of prayer? Just as my friend, Anya, said once – without God’s help she wouldn’t have got into university, she wouldn’t have passed all the necessary exams. This Friday I’m going to meet her on our Bible study meeting, finally, after three weeks. I really feel I’m losing something without my friends helping me to stay in faith all the time.
Lord, you’re so great! Thank you for these people who I can share my thoughts with. I don’t have to hide my feelings before them. They’re good listeners even if they don’t have an answer for my questions, they try. Thank you for sending them onto my path. Thanks to them, it becomes less stoned, I’m more careful in making steps in my life.
